Obituary of Eleanor J. Schulz

SCHULZ, ELEANOR J. Age 82, formerly of East Liberty/Shadyside, passed away on December 31, 2016. Beloved daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Lawton) Schulz. Preceded in death by sister Margaret Gertz and brothers John M. Schulz and Matthew Schulz. Survived by sister-in-law Jacqueline Schulz. Beloved “Aunt On” to eight nieces and nephews, twenty great and ten (soon to be eleven) great great nieces and nephews. Eleanor was a compassionate, generous, and caring daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. During her lifetime, Eleanor was a devoted member of Friendship Park, Bloomfield, and Albright United Methodist Churches. Eleanor started her employment with Matthews International at age seventeen and, after forty-five years of service, retired as Credit Manager in 1996. Friends will be received at McCABE BROS., INC. FUNERAL HOME, 5300 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224, on Friday from 1-7 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at noon.
