Am so sorry to discover this news of John. What a joy to cross paths with Kevin in June ever so randomly, and to recall the wonderful memories of Fox Chapel & Foxwall days. John was a sheer delight - funny, interesting, intelligent and quick-witted. What an extraordinary journey you shared with him, Mary. Blessings to you as you mourn John's death yet give thanks for his remarkable life. May you envision him within the embrace of the Good Shepherd....in peace and perpetual light. My deepest condolences to the McGonigle family for this tremendous loss. May the words found at Isaiah 26:19 bring you comfort in knowing that you will one day see John again.

Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life"

I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. The death of a loved one can be very difficult for the entire family.

It is my hope that you can find comfort and solace in God's Word the Bible. The scripture at Isaiah 25:8 says, "He {God} will swallow up death forever..." So, the Bible offers a promise of a wonderful future in which mankind will no longer be concerned with death. The Bible also gives us hope of a time when we will see our loved ones we have loss to that enemy death. At John 5:28, 29, Jesus said, "...the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..."

It is my wish that these words and other scriptures help you cope during this time of sorrow.

May he live with the Lord and all the saints in glory.

I knew John a little from the industry but mostly through golf at Old Collier. He was always fun to be with on the course or in the club house. A positive person with a nice sense of humor and a friendly word for everyone. He was a class act.

Will be sorry not to have another round with him. He will be missed.

A great guy and good friend to all who knew John. We will miss his comaraderie, friendship and competitive spirit on the golf course at The Old Collier Golf Club in Naples.
