Obituary of Gregorio A. R. Febbraro

Gregorio A. R. Febbraro, 49, of Des Moines, Iowa, formerly of Morningside, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016. He was the beloved son of Francesco G. and Vittoria Febbraro; brother of Elisabetta M. Febbraro and Gesuele F. Febbraro; also survived by uncles, aunts and many cousins. Gregorio was a 1984 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He received his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and his master's and doctorate degrees from Virginia Tech. He was in private practice as a clinical psychologist in West Des Moines, Iowa. He was a board member of the Iowa Psychological Association and member of other professional associations. He was also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at MCCABE BROS. INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut St., Shadyside, where funeral will commence at 9 a.m. Monday, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Raphael Church. www.mccabebrothers.com.
