My memories and sweet times together with Karen were when we would share our holiday dinners at her daughter Crystals and Shawn's home, sometimes I was privileged to have everyone at our home. The most memorable times I looked forward too, was when Karen would always treat Crystal, Shawn and me to a beautiful day at Phipps Conservatory, which was at every season. I always looked forward to those times together because each time it brought Karen and I a little closer together. Our last venture together was when Shawn and Crystal surprised us on Mother's Day by taking us to the zoo. (what a delight) The Zoo Keeper wasn't going to let Karen and I out, but we convinced them that we belonged to Shawn and Crystal. HaaHa. Just kidding.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Karen Bracken. I am so sorry for the loss to her friends and family. I enjoyed working with Karen and have many fond memories. Peace be with all.

My condolences to the family of mrs karen bracken i was shocked and devastated when i heard she was gone too soon from us she was a nice woman who was a good person who i always enjoyed being around she was always appreciative of my work and we always had the upmost respect to for one another i will miss u you were a joy to be around may you rest in peace

I am very sorry to find out about Karen’s passing, I am Phipps mailman and got to know her, we would share our day, pick on each other, or she would tell me of the adventures with the kids, or how she needed to get to the gym with her daughter. She was a really beautifully honest women who always seemed to brighten my day. I will miss her very much. My condolences, sadness’, and celebration of what an amazing woman she was are with the family. May Karen Rest In Peace.

With heavy hearts and on behalf of everyone at Phipps Conservatory, we would like to extend our deepest condolences for the loss of Karen. Karen was a dedicated, hard-working employee who will be dearly missed. Without asking for praise or accolades, Karen quietly kept the organization functioning seamlessly, and she did so with a sense of humor that brought a smile to the face of everyone who talked to her. First and foremost though, she was a loving Mother, who spoke of her dear daughter everyday. We appreciate Karen's 18 years of service and her loss leaves a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled.

I knew Karen from Phipps Garden Center where she knew everything about what was happening.

She thoroughly enjoyed her work. She was always friendly when we would come in to volunteer.

Karen will be missed.
