Of Highland Park on Thursday, September 13, 2018, age 41.  Beloved husband of Allison D. (Spory) Maola; father of John David and Eleanor Grace; son of Con and Lynn Maola; brother of Michelle M. Dialoiso (Nick); uncle of Nicky; son-in-law of Jacqueline Spory; brother-in-law of Garrett Spory; also survived by uncles, aunts and many cousins to whom he was very close.  Although David was born with congenital heart disease, he fought valiantly and was able to enjoy an extremely full life and passed that joy of life to those he loved and all who met him, through his incredible sense of humor and love of music, food, family and friends.  Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside on Sunday, 6-8 pm and Monday 2-8 pm, where Funeral will commence on Tuesday at 9 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church at 10 am.  The Maola Family is truly blessed by your support and love.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to further David’s goal of funding his children’s education through www.gofundme.com/college-fund-for-maola-twins
