Of New Castle, PA, formerly of Garfield on Saturday, October 27, 2018, age 72.  Beloved husband of Donna K. Greening; father of Ann McGhee (Pete), Tena Phillips (the late Ray), Victoria Greening (Richard Bruni), and Roberta Greening; grandfather of 10, great-grandfather of 12; brother of Dorothy Zunic, Donna Morosetti, Patrick Greening, Denice Kirschbaum and the late Wayne Greening, Jacqueline Ziros, Charles “Butch” Greening and Dennis Greening; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Bob served his county as a US Marine from 1966 to 1970, which included two tours of duty in Vietnam.  He participated in the Tet Offensive in 1968 and was awarded the Purple Heart.  He was a lifetime member of the DAV, the VFW and the Marine Corps League.  Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 5300 Penn Avenue, Bloomfield on Tuesday, 2-8 pm, where Funeral will commence on Wednesday at 10 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maria Goretti Parish, St. Joseph Church at 11 am.  Interment with military honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  Condolences may be left at www.mccabebrothers.com
