Pat Gussey always had a spark in her eye, as if she were watching for the next surprise life would offer. As a chemical engineer, she rose to the top of her profession in a field dominated by men. She skied the Rockies and the Alps and nearly every peak in between. She traveled to the capitals of the world, leaving room in her bags for pieces of art and native crafts. She liked Bridge, hockey, pottery and a good steak. I will treasure the time I spent with her—all too short as it was. Rest In Peace, Pat.
