Rest in peace, Bill.
/My thoughts and prayers have been with you Kay since I heard from Frank of Bills death. I treasure the memories of Bill in Naples and Pittsburg at your condo. He was my sponsors sponsor and learned so much from him directly and through Frank
For me it's the end of an era.

Bill you saved my life. Goodby dear friend you will be truly missed. Sam Pangburn
I had the double privilege knowing Bill and you Kay both professionally as his cardiologist and as a friend of Bill W.
He taught me a lot about life and when I had trouble forgiving my father about certain things ( he has days, perhaps hours left on this earth as he is in hospice), he gave me treasured, simple advice on the actions of forgiveness, saying one evening after I questioned him on how to forgive, he replied, “ Just be nice to him”. It worked. I’m sure he didn’t even remember that short conversation over a decade ago. I’ll bet hundreds if not thousands have had similar experiences as he had a gift for making seemingly complicated problems solvable with distilled, simple solutions. He will be greatly missed.
My prayers for his soul and the souls of all of Bill’s friends and family, on this earth and beyond.
With sincerest sympathies and love,
Michael F Hagerty MD FACC
Bill, I will miss you and are grateful to have had you as my Godfather! You helped so many people and your memory will continue to help others. Thank you for being you. You will be missed. K. Thomas
Bill Dixon always had an outstretched hand, to either help a fellow in need spiritually and in life,... or to ask for a donation to a worth cause he was always championing! Bill Dixon guided me through a renewal of my life and my soul. He told me what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear, and he reminded me that when we mentor people in our fellowship that this is what we are to do.
He made a profound difference in many spiritual and Christian institutions throughout Pittsburgh that most people will never know about, but who will benefit from his substantial and anonymous works. He lived a full life, and kept his sharp mind until the end... may we all be so fortunate.
Grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you Bill Dixon! You live on in the lives and memories of many who will continue your teachings and example!
Bill Dixon was a man of many words and one of Dennis Harrington, our father's favorite Saturday lunch companions. He will be greatly missed by our family, by his Saturday lunch audience, and all at Tessaro's.
Our sincere condolences. May he rest in peace.
Bill was a remarkable man. We here in Naples will miss him being here with us. He sure helped a lot of us… for sure, he helped me! I know my experiences with him will continue to help me as time goes on.
Bill Dixon was a very important person in the life of my family and me.
He was my sponsor and friend from the very beginning of my time in the Program.
He spent many, many hours guiding and advising me whenever I sought his help.
He and Kaye made it possible for my family and me to have wonderful vacations in their
beautiful Florida home. We will miss him and keep him in our thoughts and prayers always.
Ted Brunetti ,Sr.
