I miss you so much You were the glue that held it all together. Wondering if anyone else is showing up here.

Irene hired me to work for her in the Development Records Dept. at Carnegie Mellon University more than 30 years ago. She was a wonderful person to work for and taught me many principles of Gift Administration and keeping good records. I will always treasure her kindness and acceptance of everyone, regardless of who they were or where they came from.

I worked with Irene at Carnegie Mellon university for many years, and after her retirement we would meet occasionally for lunch in town until she could no longer travel on the bus.

I am very saddened to hear of her passing; she was kind and generous to all and set an example to us all in the way she lived her life. She was an exemplary model of a Christian.
