“Mr Fred” was a lovely man and gave me shelter in his Bloomfield home when my wife had had enough of me... He was a warm and friendly man ... when i shared with him some of the “singing nuns” music i captured on an old tape recorder during my medical missionary work in rural Brazil, Fred was in tears...with me...with his sensitive appreciation.. and his deep faith... “that’s just beeuteeeful!” He exclaimed... I really appreciated what a kind soul Fred was... and ill never forget the photo of the young man on that US NAVY ship that he proudly shared with me... He is from the Greatest Generaton and our world is less with his loss... I know he lived a long life... but i miss him and wish there were more like him... God bless you bereft of this lovely man... I wish i had known of his passing sooner but when he died i was sick with COVID myself and was unable to travel anywhere... Saint Fred will live in my heart and mind for the rest of my life...
Sincerely
