Obituary of Michael J. Mahon, Sr.

Of Bloomfield, formerly of Garfield on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, age 66. Beloved husband of Lynne (Politano) Mahon; father of Tracy Lynne Finnell (David), Michael J. Mahon, Jr. (Karen), Dawn Marie Narr (Robert) and the late Theresa Rose Mahon; grandfather of Jamie Lee Stetzer, Dalton Finnell, Jesse Mahon, Michael J. Mahon III, Ashley Mahon, Brooke Narr, Bailey Narr, Bobby “Bobbo” Narr, Cody Mahon and Raymond Bronowicz; great-grandfather of Dayla Jae Mahon; brother of Earl “Buddy” Mahon (Kathy), Dan Mahon (Joanne), Roseanne Denham (Michael) and the late Larry Mahon, Maryanne Fuhrer, and John and James Mahon; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Michael was a loving family man who will be missed by all who knew him. Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 5300 Penn Avenue, Bloomfield on Sunday, 2-8 pm, where funeral will commence on Monday at 10:30 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maria Goretti Parish, Immaculate Conception Church at 11:30 am.
