Obituary of Ralph Vento, Sr.

Ralph Vento, Sr. Of Highland Park on Saturday, December 26, 2020, age 84. Beloved husband of the late Margaret A. Vento; father of Teresa O’Neill (Tim), Ralph Vento, Jr. (Peggy) and Michael Vento (Dana); grandfather of Timothy O’Neill (Stacy), Jason O’Neill and the late Victoria O’Neill; R.J. (fiancé Gen), Patrick and Matthew Vento; and Kallie, Michael and Niko Vento; brother of Philomena Zangrilli, Judy Zottola and the late Jerry Vento and Pasquale Vento. Ralph came to this country at 17 “with a dollar in his pocket.” From there he went on to marry his Peggy, the love of his life. He started a landscaping construction company and a property development company, both of which exist to this day. He was also a retired officer of the Spigno Saturnia Society. Of all of Ralph’s accomplishments, he was most proud of his loving family. So, raise a glass of wine in Ralph’s memory. It may not be his wine but try enjoy it anyway. Funeral and interment private.
