Francis was a great friend and mentor to many of us who knew him at Westinghouse and beyond. We enjoyed occasional visits to him up into his 90's and were heartened by his sharp intellect and love for life observed during those visits. We enjoyed viewing his "archives" in his garage, being treated to his piano "recitals," and reading his hand-written Christmas messages. He'll be missed by many. Our sincerest condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Fairman's passing. As a friend of my father's (Tom Kocialski), Mr. Fairman stayed in touch with our family throughout the years. I will always fondly remember him playing piano at my wedding in 1999. He was a truly gifted and humble and kind man.

My sincerest condolences to the Family of a true accomplished and compassionate man in Francis Evarts Fairman III. I did not have the pleasure of meeting him, but knew of his kind ways through some sharings by Mimi & Willy. May all be at peace.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your great-grandfather, grandfather and father. I had the privilege of being his secretary at Westinghouse SusSite Nuclear Division from 1958 to 1962. He was a great boss and a great man.
