Obituary of Teresa D'Acunto

Teresa D’Acunto  Age 93, of Highland Park, died peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Vincentian de Marillac where she recently resided. Born on March 8, 1928 in Tremensuoli, Italy, she was the beloved wife of the late Gennaro D’Acunto. Loving mother of Pasquale (Victoria) D’Acunto, Frank D’Acunto and Diane (Douglas) Mildner.  Grandmother of six, great-grandmother of seven. Teresa was predeceased by her parents, Francesco and  Vincenza Montanaro, sister Elana Monti and brother Pasquale  Montanaro. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Vincentian de Marillac, Pilgrimage Hospice and Vincentian Schenley Gardens for the care, love and compassion shown to our mom. Family and friends received at McCabe Brothers Funeral Home, 6214 Walnut St., Shadyside on Thursday, 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church, on Friday at 10 am. THOSE WISHING TO ATTEND, PLEASE GATHER AT THE CHURCH.
