We were blessed to have Tim in our lives and be part of our story for many years (over 35+ years now). Tim taught us—quite naturally—through his love of life, how precious and bountiful a gift it is. He made the best of his life to prepare, with love, laughter and Grace for eternal life. Butch and I both believe Tim passed away with God’s Grace and with less regret than all of us. A poem by Anne Lamott says it all…. “I do not understand the mystery of Grace—only that it meets us where we are and does not leave us where it found us.” In addition, a song lyric (Avett Brothers) reflects my feelings for Tim. “He came for all that’s good—that’s how he’ll walk away.” Tim, it’s your time to now lie down in Peace and with the Grace of God for eternity—please watch over us—we’ll see you soon. I’ll remember Uncle Timmy in many positive ways- with a big smile, telling a great joke or story and always getting our big family together. He was a proud Irishman, veteran, son, brother, husband, father, uncle, cousin and friend who will be missed by all. He’s up in heaven, surrounded by loved ones, telling them a new joke. Lucky them!
