Bryson Forrest Datt
Died Friday, September 24, 2021 peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Forrest W. Datt and Lois Bryson Datt and a sister, Marilyn E. Datt. Bryson was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1947. He was a graduate of Richland High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University and a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. His career included work as an engineer, businessman, and management consultant. Bryson is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Mimi. He was the proud father of his three sons, Bryson F. Datt, Jr. (Sarah), Baxter Datt (Kelsey), and Andrew S. Datt (Julien); loving grandfather of Libby, Bryson, William, Warren and Isaac Datt; brother of Ellen Cox (Allan), brother-in-law of Nancy Hoffman, Becky Wiles (Tom) and Bill Remaley; and an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was beloved by his children and grandchildren who cherished his intellect, gentle nature, good humor and wit. All arrangements will be private and entrusted to McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Homes.
