Obituary of Juliann Holden

Juliann Holden Of Highland Park passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 28th, at the age of 97. She is survived by her children, Juliann McGraw, Laura Hampton (Mike), Linda Holden-Ramsey, Sharon Young (Joseph), Michael Holden (Betsy), 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren with another due early next year, as well as her brother John Matuszwski (Bea), and husband's sisters Kitty Kelly and Elizabeth Crowe (Tom). She has many wonderful nieces and nephews and their families. Julie grew up in Niles, Ohio and met the love of her life in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio. Julie was a devout Catholic. She will be greeted warmly in Heaven by those that preceded her in death, her husband of 61 years William C. Holden, son William P. Holden and daughter Karen Weres, her parents and brothers and sisters. Her greatest accomplishment was being a devout and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister, She loved everyone. She had a passion for gambling, dancing, golf and had a great sense of humor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Church, on Monday at 9:30 am, Bishop David Zubik presiding. Condolences may be left at www.mccabebrothers.com
