Obituary of Margaret "Dolly" Gentile

Margaret “Dolly” Gentile Of Allison Park, on Sunday, October 3, 2021, age 89. Daughter of the late James and Mamie Gentile. Aunt of Joseph Natoli (Rose); Thomas Natoli (Lori); beloved great-aunt of Maria Natoli (fiancé Ryan Morris); Katharine Natoli (Daniel Markosky); Emily Natoli; and Nicholas Natoli. Also Aunt to Edward Lazio; Geralyn Peters (Phil); Linda Short (Bob); Mae Jakubetz (Rich); and many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Dolly was born and raised in Morningside before reluctantly moving to the suburbs and was a long-time employee of Davidson Sand and Gravel. An avid Pittsburgh sports fan and a passionate supporter of the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins, among others, Dolly enjoyed traveling, going to The Rivers Casino, going to Broadway shows, and dining out with her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her siblings Mary Fricano; Samuel Gentile; Martin Gentile; James Gentile; Antoinette “Sis” Lazio; Martin Gentile; Josephine Gentile; Mae Gentile; Helen Natoli; Thomas Gentile; Joseph Gentile; Edward Gentile; and her beloved brother-in-law, Joseph B. Natoli. Visitation will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at St Mary of the Assumption Church, 2510 Middle Rd, Glenshaw.
