Obituary of Robert J. Wilson

Robert J. Wilson “Bobby” Of Bloomfield on Thursday, October 7, 2021, age 63. Beloved son of the late Robert E. “Rope” and Mary Rita Wilson; brother of the late Donald Wilson; longtime friend of Kathy Casale; also survived by many cousins and lifelong friends. Bobby was an Ironworker in Local 3, who lent his talent to the building of the Heinz Field, PNC Park and Children’s Hospital. Will be dearly missed by his black chow Buddha. He was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School Class of 1976. Bobby could expound on any number of topics and he will be remembered for his encyclopedic knowledge of sports and rock and roll. Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. 5300 Penn Avenue, Bloomfield on Thursday, 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Saint Maria Goretti Parish, St. Joseph Church on Friday at 10 am.
