I am heartbroken for Regis' family and many friends. I had the good fortune to be his theatre advisor at IUP, and watched his progress and growth as an artist with joy and admiration. I most admired watching him develop his sense of advocacy for himself and others with invisible medical conditions. He was a model for other students--and I know they will miss his easy smile and heartfelt conversations. I know I will as well.

Rege, Eileen and Family,

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Little Rege. I haven’t seen him since he was young. He turned into a handsome man, and accomplished so much. You all I am sure were so proud of him.

I am unbelievably hurt and sorry beyond words to hear about this. Regis was a brother to me and a truly special person. I'll always remember the times we had and he will always have a place in my heart. I will be thinking of his family and give my sincerest condolences.
