Obituary of Mary C. Slemenda

Mary C. (Coleman) Slemenda Age 96 of Beaver, formerly of Garfield, on Thursday, July 21, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Slemenda; mother of Dr. William Slemenda (Mame), Mary Beth Klein (Chuck), Janet Slemenda (James), Carol Lupo (Jeff), Kathy LaMarca (Geno) and the late Charles Slemenda (survived by Marilyn) and infant Mary Anne; grandmother of Maureen, Dr. Colin (Emily), Dr. Meghan Dietz (Patrick) and Brendan, Kelly Lupo, Adam Lupo (Whitney), Lauren Moore (Ryan), Robert Slemenda, Meredith and Chandler Klein, Nicholas and Alexander Monteverde and Dr. Gabby Beley (Tyler); great-grandmother of Jackson, Emma, Savannah, Coleman, Simona, Ruby and Dagny. Daughter of the late William and Cecelia Coleman. Sister of the late William and Mary Coleman and the late Joseph and Dorothy Coleman. Special thanks to the nephews and nieces of the Coleman, Gieder, and Slemenda families as well as Judy Anders and Mary and Joe Rubino for always being there for Mom. Funeral Home, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside on Friday, July 22nd, 5-8 pm, where funeral will commence on Saturday, July 23rd at 9 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Church, at 10 am.
