Oh Martha, my sister Peg just sent me this notice about Jim. I am so glad I saw you both at Peg's concert in Pittsburgh. I was always going to go up there and have the two of you meet her and her family and never got around to doing it. I am sure you have had quite a time adjusting to this terrible loss. I so remember those eary years at your house in Seattle when the kids were small. Thank you so much for inviting me to be part of those early times together. Love you and hope you are alright. Jim has been such a great asset to the Pittsburgh Savoyards orchestra. Not only an excellent trumpeter, but a kind, positive influence, and everyone in the group adored working with him. I feel honored that Jim was a member of our orchestra. He will be greatly missed!
