Dear Dave, Marty, John, Mary and families,
Be assured of my prayers for each of you as the mourn the loss of your mother. Whoever composed her obituary captured her personality very well. From the first time I walked to your home on Beechwood Boulevard from the other side of the hill in Hazelwood, I was aware of her warmth, welcoming spirit and hospitality. I value the memory of how she and your dad went the extra mile to be present at my father's wake and funeral fifteen years ago. That personal presence, quiet concern and living witness to the works of mercy typified them both. May she now rest in God's loving presence along with those that she loved who share that peace and eternal rest.
