My memories of John, I called him Johnny, go way back to my childhood when we made the long car trip from New Hampshire to Duquesne for family visits with my Aunt Anne, Uncle Mike, and cousins Helen Anne and Johnny. He was always friendly and outgoing, and made sure to show my brothers and I a good time. I was impressed because he was a star college football player at Pitt, and I remember going to watch him play in a game at Boston College. As time went on and I raised my own family he and Patty were always there with us at weddings and funerals and family visits, in good times and bad. Rest in peace cousin John.
