I knew Ka-sing for many years as a fellow mathematician.

He was a friend and a kind and generous man I salute him and send his family our sympathies and memories we particularly remember Eveline.

We are sad to hear of Ka-Sing's passing. While we were students in Pittsburgh you and Ka-Sing were so kind to us even hosting a party at your home (after our wedding in HK) for us and our Pittsburgh friends. We will always remember Ka-Sing's laughter and cheerful personality.

Since we graduated almost 40 years ago we haven't been staying in touch with our friends in Pittsburgh. We are glad we were able to meet you and Ka-Sing in Pittsburgh in 2014 after we dropped off our kid in college.
