Professor Ka-Sing Lau has taught me functional analysis in undergraduate level. He was the department head during my study at CUHK. I have memory that my friend briefly described his work in fractals and analysis to me, and told me that Professor Lau was very hard-working and motivating. Really feel sorry to hear the loss.
